The Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) works to empower and develop business men and women as leaders of character for the nation in every sector of the global economy. ALPFA has more than 81,000 professional and student members across the country with access to 50,000 paid summer internships through hundreds of Fortune 1000 corporate partners. Our vision is to be the premier business organization for expanding opportunities for leadership in the global market.

One of the main focuses of ALPFA’s development plan is to provide its members with an active learning environment. Networking
The ALPFA National Convention and the West Regional Symposium are the major networking events that ALPFA members from all student chapters can attend. Both events consist of keynote speakers, workshops and networking sessions.
Our CSU Long Beach Chapter had the privilege of hosting the 2016 West Regional Symposium in January 2016. Many firms attended to recruit students for internships and job opportunities. Attendees included: Intuit, Goldman Sachs, EY, Central Intelligence Agency, and KPMG. |
